In order to prevent language or action that can hurt or frighten another person, the Let’s Dance Club, expecting persons attending its functions to behave in a mature and responsible way and to respect the rights and dignity of others, does hereby adopt this Code of Conduct on April 22, 2005, effective immediately, specifically stressing that none of the items below will be acceptable:
1. Angry or vulgar language, including swearing, name calling and shouting;
2. Physical contact with another person in any angry or threatening way;
3. Any demonstration of sexual activity or sexual contact with another person;
4. Harassment or intimidation by: words, gestures, body language, or any other menacing behavior;
5. Behavior which intends to or results in the theft or destruction of property;
6. Carrying or concealing any weapons or devices which may be used as weapons;
7. The sale, possession, distribution, or use of any illegal substance and/or alcohol and/or tobacco products by an individual is prohibited during our events and will constitute grounds for immediate termination and/or immediate removal and possible prosecution in accordance with the applicable laws.
Members of the Let’s Dance Club are encouraged to be responsible for their personal conduct and safety and to ask any person whose behavior threatens their personal comfort to refrain.
Should the problem persist, participants are expected to report any violation of this Code of Conduct and seek assistance should they need it.
The Let’s Dance Club will investigate all reported incidents.
Termination of membership/participation privileges may result from any violation of the herein Code of Conduct.
